This program reaches targeted audiences of coastal decision-makers: natural resource professionals, policymakers, cultural practitioners, and others whose actions and ideas influence the health of the Heʻeia estuary.
By providing training and opportunities for exchange that integrates traditional knowledge and contemporary science, we help these communities to more effectively address issues such as climate change, habitat restoration, and water quality in He‘eia and beyond.
